Growing up, Nea's taste and personal style choices often outstripped her very limited budget. She began designing and making her own jewelry as a means to wear the modern and  elevated styles she preferred at a fraction of the cost of what was found in stores.  Her love of simple, geometric pieces that easily transition from day to night informed her design choices and collections. Years later, Nea realized that she could combine her love of both ceramics and jewelry and a whole new world of creating jewelry pieces opened up to her. She is currently designing a new collection that features the pairing of handmade clay beads with a selection of elements made from natural materials and metals.
